Rental Terms

Driver Age: Minimum age for categories A, B, C is 21 years, for categories D, E, A1, B1, C1 is 25 years, and for category C2, C3, C4 is 28 years.
Driving License: The driver must hold a valid driving license or international driving license for the corresponding motorcycle category. The license must be valid and issued in the renter’s country of residence at least one year prior to the rental date.
Rental Duration: Minimum rental duration is one day (24 hours). Delay of more than 2 hours will incur an additional day of rental.
Insurance: All rental prices include basic liability insurance. The renter is responsible for any damage or theft (partial or total) caused to the rented motorcycle up to its market value at the time of the accident/theft. The renter pays the amount corresponding to the damage of the motorcycle, regardless of fault, and the amount will be refunded once DriveSpot is compensated.
Theft Insurance: Applies only to categories A1, B1, C1, C2, C3, C4. All motorcycles are equipped with a handlebar lock and an additional security lock.
ATTENTION: No Insurance Coverage
Applies:
- For any incident occurring while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- For damages caused by driving on unpaved roads.
- For damages to the lower part of the motorcycle, tires, and rims.
- For accidents caused by a driver not declared in the rental agreement.
- For accidents the renter did not report to the DriveSpot station and did not submit an accident report as required by Greek law, regardless of fault.
Amounts related to damage or loss of the motorcycle must be paid immediately by the renter, even if covered by insurance or charged to their debit/credit card. In such cases, the renter must pay DriveSpot the full cost of repair or replacement of the motorcycle.
Fuel: Fuel costs are exclusively the responsibility of the renter. The renter must return the motorcycle with the fuel tank at the same level as when received. Otherwise, the renter will be charged for the consumed fuel. The renter must follow the manufacturer’s specifications and refill the tank with the required fuel type.
Road Assistance: Free 24-hour roadside assistance throughout Greece (except a few islands) for categories D, E, A1, B1, C1, C2, C3, C4, and within Attica for categories A, B, C. Tire, rim, and spoke damages are the responsibility of the renter.
Deposit: For categories A, B, C, minimum deposit is €200 or credit card. For categories D, E, A1, B1, C1, C2, C3, C4, motorcycle rental is possible only with a credit card deposit.
Payment Method: Motorcycle rental is payable in cash or by Visa/Mastercard credit card.
Pick-up & Drop-off: Only at our station during working hours. Outside working hours or holidays, pick-up and drop-off is possible only by arrangement. Off-station pick-ups require prior agreement and incur an additional charge to the renter.
Reservations: To reserve a motorcycle, a 30% advance payment is required, either in cash or by credit card.
Cancellations: In case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.
Traffic Violations – Fines: All fines and administrative penalties are the responsibility of the renter.
Mileage: For categories A, B, C, mileage is unlimited. For categories D, E, A1, B1, C1, C2, C3, C4, mileage is 150 km per day. Extra kilometers are charged according to our price list.
Helmet: Provided to the renter free of charge.
Taxes: All prices are subject to VAT as determined by the state.

In special cases, DriveSpot reserves the right to replace any motorcycle type with another of the same category (or higher).
